Virtual Reality and Business Mentors

So the past two days have been exciting. I was really feeling lost so I decided to just write down my goals. Also at the time I saw a fellow entrepreneur who was very successful offer free website checkups on his live show called the “Hustle Zone”. So I called in and had him look at my site.

I don’t know if it was due to me writing my goals down, or just good timing, but the advice he gave me was golden. He made me believe in myself and show me that I can charge thousands of dollars per shoot, even get a fee just for writing a script. It was mind bending.

My website basically sucked, so he gave me loads of tips on what to do. But the real gold was in, he knew what I wanted. Easy money doing what I love. So he gave me a roadmap of exactly how to do that.

I always knew there was more to business than what I was told from people close to me. I always knew that somewhere, someone, has the knowledge to make real money, to thrive. I’ve read so many books on marketing and sales and saw so many success stories that I knew it was possible to get rich in business, but I just could never figure it out.

Reading books is fine, but if you really want to take your business to the next level and prosper, fast, get a mentor. Find someone who is ahead of you and ask them what to do. Don’t go to SCORE, don’t go on, stop reading books, just go talk to someone who is doing what you want to do is where you want to be. It will cut your learning curve down by at least 10 years.

Also the next fun thing, I ordered Google Cardboard, it’s a virtual reality headset for $15. Literally the best $15 I ever spent. I bought it as a gift for my brother, but of course I’m going to use it as well. It’s amazing, that’s all I can say. I was so entrenched in this VR that I totally forgot I had problems and issues, my focus was different.

I guess retail therapy isn’t that bad.

Anyways go buy it!
